I am not a huge video game person though I have always owned at least one since the first Nintendo came out back in the 1980's. I think kids spend way to much time on them when they should be being active outdoors.  For Christmas we got the Wii and I absolutely LOVE it. We play as a family and it is something (even though I limit the amount of time) I don't mind Aaron playing. I love watching him get up and move around yet still get the enjoyment of playing a video game. I got the chance to try Vacation Isle: Beach Party in our home with my family. The setup are super easy and game play is easy enough my four year old had a blast. There was no crying because he could not figure out how to play or because *gasp* he died.

Aaron's favorite game was the Fire Dancing and it was so funny watching him dance on the Wii; while Ken and I agree our favorite is the Ski Jump. With most Wii games I have to set things up for Aaron but on this one once the game is on he can do the rest! I also love the versatility of this game! You can use the Wii Balance Board or just the nun chuck and controller. I will admit though it is easier to imagine you truly skiing if your using the balance board.

You can buy Vacation Isle: Beach Party most fine retailers or online and it retails for $29.99

    20. Oh, and I definitely want to try the fire dancing, especially if that would be easy for my kids--I'm always looking for Wii games that my 3 and 5 year old can have success with!
