Random Review Tuesday 3/30: Guest Post

Time is tight, let’s face it. So when a product promises me the world, you know I have to try it out. Today’s guinea pig: Clean & Clear’s Morning Burst In-Shower facial.

The Claim: The Morning Burst In-Shower facial claims to provide a citrus-scented, invigorating, deep cleansing treatment that will refresh your skin in the shower after just one minute. One minute? In the shower? Sign me up.

How it Works: The steam from your shower (assuming there is any warm water left for you after your entire family has bathed) allows the facial’s ingredients to clean deep down to your pores and wash away dirt, oil and other icky stuff.

Key Ingredients:

·    Glycolic Acid (an Alpha-Hydroxy Acid) to promote cell turnover
·    Micro-beads to help exfoliate dead surface skin
·    Clay to draw out the dirt and oil from pores
·    Moisturizers to hydrate
·    Vitamin C and Ginseng to revive skin’s appearance

Price and Availability: $5.49 – $6.49 for a 5oz. tube, available online, in drug stores and at major retailers nationwide

Final Verdict: How about “WOW!”? Really, for the price, this stuff is a fantastic buy. The incredible scent alone is enough to get you moving, but the soft, smooth skin you’re left with is really where it’s at. So, if you’re not one of the fortunate few who can head to a facialist once a month or spend unlimited dollars on prescription skin care, this is definitely a great choice for you.
