Once Upon A Baby Brother Brother Review & Giveaway

Aaron is doing well with the transition of having Caleb in the house. I wonder though how long that will actually last before he realizes all the things that come with having a younger sibling. We read Once Upon A  Baby Brother right before bed and well it became a hint right away. The story is great and has the greatest story and lesson. Lizzie is a young girl who has a wonderful imagination. She is often bothered by her younger brother Marvin yet when Marvin goes away Lizzie realizes just how much she draws on her brother for her imagination. This is definitely one of those books that has been added into our bed time routine.

H2Organics Kids Review & Giveaway

Three months ago I was a sugar drinking, corn syrup swallowing, Soda crazy person. What I seen was me gaining weight and my son following down the path I had set. Three months ago I decided I would allow water to take over my life and I now get around 100 ounces a day. Not so easy to get my four year old on my water wagon. He screams and throws a fit for the high sugar drinks of yesterday. I love H2Oraganics for Kids.

Father's Day Alert: The gift of a healthy future

Did you know that new research has found that men are 31 percent less likely than women to have visited a doctor within the past year?  In fact, men report making fewer routine health care appointments compared with women (56.5 percent vs. 73.8 percent).
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Ad Council are launching a new movement on behalf of their national public service advertising campaign designed to encourage middle-age men to learn which preventive medical tests they need to get and when to get them.
So what can you do for the dad's in your life?
o   Send them this new e-card for Father’s Day (http://www.dadtothedoc.org)
o   Ask your husbands, fathers, brothers, etc. to take the health quiz (http://www.ahrq.gov/healthymen/quiz.htm)
o   Encourage the dad in your life to visit ahrq.gov/healthymen, which provides recommended ages for preventive medical tests, a health care quiz designed to test knowledge of preventive health care, tips for talking with doctors, a glossary of consumer health terms, and links to online resources to find more medical information.  Also, keep an eye out for the new PSA's encouraging dad's to take care of their health.
-          Tweet about this preventive health campaign, sharing the www.ahrq.gov/healthymen and the www.dadtothedoc.org URLs.  The hashtag for the campaign is #dadtothedoc
-          Let your Facebook friends know about the campaign’s Facebook page (facebook.com/healthymen) and the incredible resources available.
-          Sit down with the men in your life and take a look at the tools needed for a healthy future.  Send the health e-card this Father’s Day to remind the men you love about the importance of protecting his health this Father’s Day and for many more to come.
There is nothing better than a healthy dad for this Father's Day! After all we would love to be able to celebrate with them again next year!

Explanation for being MIA.

I wanted to let everyone know I have been without internet since Friday. I guess the lines are down or something. I live in a community that has wifi and no one has access. I have drove around all day today to try to get where I could at least post. Right now I am sitting in the hospital parking lot....

This stinks and I am so sorry. I will update Mamavation, Winners, Reviews, and Giveaways as soon as I have internet at home. Please don't forget about me!
